Design philosophy

Design should function with a clear purpose and move out of the way. A design should aim to work, rather than be special. Special requires more maintenance and unnecessary attention from viewers. Not to be confused with boring, as the design still requires inviting the user in. Design, especially in regards to UX and usability, is a hypothesis that requires validation.

Colophon

Designed and built in Iceland. Using Next.js, Styled System, Framer Motion, React Three Fiber, Figma, and fonts by Klim Type Foundry, hosted on Vercel. With big thanks to Aranja and Connor Holyday.
